The works of Daniel O’Donnell have seen him crossover from a folk-based Irish singer to a superstar capable of drawing a crowd all over the world. This release sees him taking to the stage at The Helix Theater in Dublin, Ireland, performing to a rapturous reception from a hometown crowd. Among the songs performed are “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “Will The Circle Be Unbroken,” “Softly and Tenderly,” and many others.
Daniel O’Donnell is better than wonderful and yes he is handsome and Mary Duff is beautiful. If you are a DOD fan then you must have this one. I agree they showed the audience quite a bit but I enjoyed seeing everyone so “into” these songs. This DVD does not have the fun stuff that I like between DOD and MD but I understand that. You could tell for sure that his heart was really into this show. It was nice seeing his mother and Majella there too.
